My Story
Starting with yoga during my years as a model only for the physical benefits, I soon discovered how yoga also benefits the mind. Little did I know I would become a yoga teacher! It was a strange road that led me there but life is always full of surprises, isn’t it?
I’ve been practicing yoga off and on for about ten years but when life got in my way, and I had to battle depression, yoga became very important. Both yoga asana (the postures) and yoga philosophy became my refuge and it helped me to face my demons and show up for myself again. Once I started practicing regularly, I became stronger, both mentally and physically. I became calmer and braver. Slowly yoga became ingrained in my daily life in a fundamental way.
In 2018 I received a scholarship from the yoga school Shakti Yoga Peeth in Rishikesh, India, to become a yoga teacher and I am forever grateful for that opportunity! I decided to go for it wholeheartedly and dedicating myself to yoga changed my life completely. So far it brought me more than I could dream of. As a yoga teacher I have been traveling the world and have worked at inspiring resorts and yoga schools and I’ve met equally inspiring people.
